Explore our summer and professional internship programs below.

Summer Internships

Our summer internships offer you a summer full of training, learning and working towards supporting our local clean economy from May to August. You’ll be equipped with the knowledge and aptitude to deliver meaningful environmental perspective through hands-on projects during 15-week and 9-week summer placements.

You’ll grow your environmental mindset and set yourself up for success through experiential learning. You’ll emerge from the Clean Leadership program ready to pursue a stronger career path and become an environmental leader within your community.

Am I eligible?

Clean Leadership offers 9 and 15-week summer leadership programs focused on providing experiential learning opportunities and valuable work experience here in Nova Scotia. Intern applications for our upcoming summer 2020 season are now open.

I am a high school, post-secondary student or recent grad
N
I am legally entitled to work in Canada
N
I am a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or Persons who have been granted refugee status in Canada
N
I will not be in receipt of Employment Insurance (EI) during the internship

Professional Internships

If you’re hoping to further your experience and really kick start your career, the Clean Leadership Professional Internship Program is a perfect step. This program enables employers anywhere in Canada to find and hire highly qualified grads to work in the environmental and clean tech sector.

Clean Foundation will contribute up to 50% of your salary via your employer, to a maximum of $15,000. Internships must be at least 6 months and completed by March 31, 2021.

Am I eligible?

If you’re ready to transition into a full-time role within the Clean Economy or considering returning to school to further your education, and you meet all the requirements listed below, you could be eligible!

Graduated from a post-secondary program

N

No more than 30 years of age at the start of the internship

N

Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee status in Canada

N

Available to work for at least 6 months

N

Not receiving employment insurance during internship

N

Not currently working for hiring organization

Stages professionnels

Si vous espérez approfondir votre expérience et donner un véritable coup de pouce à votre carrière, le Programme de stages pour les professionnels en leadership écologique est une étape parfaite. Ce programme permet aux employeurs, partout au Canada, de trouver et d’embaucher des diplômés hautement qualifiés pour travailler dans le secteur de l’environnement. 

La Clean Foundation contribuera à hauteur de 50 % de votre salaire par l’intermédiaire de votre employeur, jusqu’à concurrence de 15 000 dollars. Les stages doivent durer au moins 6 mois et être terminés au plus tard le 31 mars 2021.

Si vous êtes prêt à faire la transition vers un rôle à temps plein au sein de l’économie propre ou si vous envisagez de retourner aux études pour poursuivre votre formation, et que vous répondez à toutes les exigences énumérées ci-dessous, vous pourriez être admissible !
