Restoration Survey Reports
In 2010, ten (10) streams were surveyed for water quality and areas in need of physical restoration to help increase and protect habitat for fish. The first page of each particular report can be found by clicking on the RED DOT in the area of interest. The rest of each report can be obtained by contacting Clean Nova Scotia by phone at (902) 420-3474 or in person at 126 Portland Street, Dartmouth, NS. These reports contain information pertaining to historical and current land use, baseline water quality data, site specific restoration recommendations, and appropriate background information to educate those unfamiliar with stream restoration.

The SSRDP staff have also done general site assessments on 75 other streams within the HRM and can provide those interested with overall habitat quality and the likelyood of restoration success.
