Meet our marine waste champions

In the interest of protecting the health of our oceans for future generations, fishers from across Nova Scotia have shown their support for the Ship-to-Shore program.

A number of fishers have championed waste management by installing recycling/garbage bin aboard their vessels. The bin design was created with the guidance of fisherman and Yarmouth Bar President, Stewart Sweeney. Thank you to all for bringing your waste to shore and for supporting this initiative.
