When you register for Clean Across Nova Scotia you will receive:
Garbage bags – enough for your particular cleanup
Recycling bags
Posters
A Safety Information Booklet – all coordinators must read this before you begin!
Data Card – fill this out when you are done and send it back to Clean Nova Scotia. If you prefer to fill out your data card online, please click here.
*Important* – Due to the scale of Clean Across Nova Scotia, shipping supplies directly to individual households (as we do with the Great Nova Scotia Pick Me Up) is not possible. Instead, supplies will be shipped to the closest Tim Hortons location, unless your municipality has made other prior arrangements.
If you live in Pictou County, please register here instead, as the Go Clean Get Green team will be submitting one large registration for the area.
This means that we will need a community member to pick up the shipments (which we will be sending in May) within 24 hours of them being delivered, and distribute them to the various groups who have registered their cleanups through the same Tims location. Tim Hortons’ support is what makes our distribution possible, but they do not have the space or ability to store cleanup kits in store, nor can they manage multiple volunteers showing up at different times to pick up supplies.
