Beach Sweeps
Building on the success of the Great Nova Scotia Pick-Me-Up program, Clean Nova Scotia’s Beach Sweep program encourages and engages communities in the removal of trash and debris from shorelines throughout HRM. This past summer saw more than 20 beach sweeps take place, which raised awareness about the type of debris that is commonly found on beaches and the effects of debris in our oceans.
