Bike Valet

Bike Valet

Clean Nova Scotia’s Bike Valet was a hit in 2011 at the Atlantic Film Festival and Nocturne: Art at Night and are ready to kick off the 2012 bike season in style!

What is a bicycle valet service?

Bike Valet is like a secure coat check for your bike and the best place to park your fuel-less transportation.  While titled Bike Valet, other forms of human powered transportation are welcome too, such as skateboards and strollers.  We provide an attended, secure bicycle parking lot where users can store their belongings with their bikes (or strollers, etc.) giving them the same convenience as being able to lock items in a car.

Check out our  Frequently Asked Questions:

How does it work?

Similar to a coat check service, we give you a claim stub/number and you give us your bike.  After the event, you bring back the stub and we return your bike.  Our service is FREE!

What if I can’t get back in time to pick up my bike?

When you take your claim check, you’re agreeing to our service terms.  If you’re not back to pick up your bike within 30 minutes after the event has ended, we’ll bring your bike back our office (126 Portland St., Dartmouth) where you’ll have to come pick it up and pay the costs for its transportation and storage.

Is Bike Valet available for my trailer, skates or jogging stroller?

We’ll park anything electric, assisted or human powered.  If it has a gas engine, you’ll have to park it with the cars.

Can I leave my stuff with my bike?

Yes. Because we can’t inventory your accessories, we can’t be responsible for them, but anything securely attached to your bike will be safe.

Bike Valet costs:

As an organizer, there are two service options available to you at your time of booking.  Please note that Bike Valet must always be attended by at least two people (at least one CNS staff member, plus a volunteer).  Additional details are outlined below.

Option 1:

Clean Nova Scotia will staff the valet for a small fee, while providing warm hospitality and VIP service to people on bikes, boards, skates or strollers.  Two CNS staff will attend the valet for a fee of $30/hour on top of additional rental fees.
