Climate Change
On average, individual Canadians produce over five tonnes of GHGs per year by burning fossil fuels such as oil, gasoline, coal and natural gas. These individual actions account for almost one third of all Canada’s GHG emissions. Clean Nova Scotia’s climate change programs encourage individuals and businesses to do their part to reduce GHGs by changing daily habits in heating, electricity and vehicle use.
